Civil Litigation
Civil litigation, includes all court matters not involving criminal prosecutions. Mr. Rosenblat has represented companies and individuals in defense and prosecution of civil matters in both state and federal courts.
Recent Victories
LR v. Village of * - was arrested and in the course of his arrest, LR was struck in the face and suffered from a fractured orbital. There were no permanent injuries. LR was convicted of resisting arrest. A civil rights suit was filed alleging that the police used excessive force. LR was awarded $50,000.
BW v. City of * - during a search of his home by police, the police stomped on BW's head as he lie on the ground. BW suffered a bloody lip and minor scrapes. A civil rights suit was filed alleging excessive force and malicious prosecution. The case settled for $45,000.
